Depth Study In Causes Of Parkinson’s Disease

Caffeine

While caffeine is often blamed for negative health effects, it has been associated with a lower rate of Parkinson’s disease. According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Asso­ciation, the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease is higher among people who did not drink coffee than it was among people who drank three cups (28 ounces) of caffeinated coffee daily.

The find­ings were supported by other researchers who found that coffee drinkers developed Parkinson’s disease eight years later than people who didn’t drink coffee. This hasn’t been true for Michael or me; we’re both java hounds.
